About this work:
This is my portrait of my life-partner-in-crime, Caitlin Lissauer. It is my expression of her beauty, intensity, mystery, and the love I feel for her, poured out onto the canvas. It is as unique a work in my process and in my oeuvre, as she is in my life. I created this work only when thinking of her, when I was full of love and joy for her and our relationship, when listening only to the songs that speak most to our relationship, which remind me of dancing with her under the stars.
