About this work:
Tennis Shoes was among the first works I created using my Eureka algorithm. The composition consists of a Hansa Yellow square, offset from the center, covered by a translucent field of Cadmium Yellow Primrose. The interaction of these two colors creates a level of intensity bordering on fluorescence. With this in mind, the title references from the fluorescents and neons frequently found in tennis shoes and other athletic wear.
