After Uta Barth

After Uta Barth

from $96.00

One of the best exhibitions I’ve seen was (very surprisingly) composed primarily of photographs of linen curtains. The exhibition was Uta Barth “To Draw With Light” at SCAD MoA. I was working there at the time so I spent a lot of time with those photographs and really valued my time with them. There is something so satisfying about linen, with its warmth, its irregular warp and weft, and the subtle way it catches the light. Barth captured that beautifully in the photographs from her series “...and to draw a bright white line with light”. This photograph is my homage to her and my attempt to capture some of that same beauty through my prism.
